- The work consists of the contractor furnishing all engineering, labor, equipment, and materials to perform the work required, in strict accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. The following is a summary of work to Replace Supply Rail Spur, located at Eielson AFB, Alaska. The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and supervision necessary to replace 915 linear feet of track and a concrete panel at grade roadcrossing. All work shall comply with American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association (AMERMA) standards, UFC 4-860-03FA, and the attached specifications. The resultant contract will be firm fixed price. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237990 with a size standard of $31,000,000. The magnitude of this project is Between $250,000 and $500,000. This acquisition is being solicited under full and open competition conditions IAW FAR 19.10, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. THIS SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS ARE PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET ONLY. **NOTE: All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: http://www.ccr.gov to register and/or obtain information about the CCR program.** The solicitation will be available on or about 7/30/2007. A solicitation mailing list will not be maintained for this procurement, all solicitation documents will be available electronically and it is the responsibility of the offeror to register for notification of updates to this procurement via this web site.
