- Furnish all labor, equipment, material, supplies, parts, and all things necessary to repair the elevator located at Carters Powerhouse, Cartersville, Georgia. Elevator description: Passenger/Traction (Passenger and Freight), Capacity 4,000 lbs , Travel 48 feet; Speed 100 fpm; landings 4; Door Clear Front 210 wide by 7high; Entrance type Electrically operated, single-speed, LH Producer, F. S. Payne Co., Cambridge, MA, Installer Gemco elevator Com, Atlanta, GA; Est. date of installa tion 1974. In general, work will consist of: cleaning and repairing reusable items and replace broken, deteriorated, and outdated items, and provide new items to insure a properly operating and serviceable elevator. It is anticipated that a Fixed Pric e contract will be awarded. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The size standard for which is a concern, including its affiliates whose average number of employees does not exceed 500 for the past three (3) years under NAICS 333 921. The solicitation will only be issued as a direct download at the following website://www.fedteds.gov and will be available for download on or about July 16,2007. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in F edTeds before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Governments best interest. Solicitation documents will be posted on FedTeds. FedTeds is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information. When solicitation documents have been issued and posted to FedTeds, synopsis or pre-solici tation notice will be amended and a link provided to access FedTeds. The process to download from FedTeds will be provided with the link.
