Description: The solicitaition will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 27, 2007. Shenandoah National Park currently has a Cat 3 network in service, which was enough for a Novell network, but with more demand and higher throughput desired by the Department of the Interior for its security devices as well as normal business applications, we need to upgrade our network for inclusion of voice IP into our system. The Headquarters campus of Shenandoah National Park is one of the hubs for our outlying district WAN. The purpose of this scope of work is to install a cabling infrastructure at HQ to support the voice and data requirements of normal operation, and afterwards the removal of the excess wiring in the building.
