Description
The Government requires the following: A Firm, Fixed Price, with Time and Material Components, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, Services type, Multiple award contract for cleaning of collection, holding and transfer (CHT) systems on board various Naval vessels docked at Yokosuka and Sasebo, Japan. All services to be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Contractors must be NAVSEA Approved Contractor, and perform using NAVSEA approved standard procedures, or NAVSEA Approved Contractor Proprietary Procedures. Place of Performance is U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility Yokosuka, Japan or Sasebo, Japan. The contract will include a base period of performance from the date of award through one year thereafter, with the possiblities of one one-year option period. FOB Destination. This requirement to be solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside, non-commercial services, under FAR Part 15. Award under this procurement will be made to the technically acceptable offer, which provides the Best Value to the Government, Past Performance and Price considered. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or about 01 Aug 07, with a closing date of 30 Aug 07. When issued, this solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. An email request to Rebecca.pastorella@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) Complete and Fill in the solicitation, including pricing section, ?fill-in? paragraphs, and all representations and certifications, and (2) Provide Technical and Past Performance Information as requested. Please insure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.com) All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which, if received in a timely manner, shall be considered by Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound.
