Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with FAR 13 with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation, number N00189-07-T-N063, is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The procurement is unrestricted with an applicable NAIC code of 532412 and a small business standard threshold of $6M. FISC Norfolk Naval Shipyard anticipates award of a firm fixed-price contract for the following service(s): Rental of one (1) each floating barge crane certified to NAVFAC P307 for operation at the Naval Propulsion Training Unit (NPTU), Goosecreek, Charleston, South Carolina with the following specifications- NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (14-JUN-2007).
