Description

OPHTHALOMOLOGY STATEMENT OF WORK The following Ophthalomology services/procedures shall be included: " Preoperative evaluation of patients undergoing non-laser surgeries " Cataract Surgery with intraocular lens implantation (done at VAMC) -Ultrasonography with calculation of intraocular lens power -Secondary intraocular lens implantation " Capsulotomy at VAMC " Glaucoma Surgery -Trabeculoplasty -Iridotomy -Trabeculectomy -Bleb Needle " Retina Surgery Treatment of choroidal neovascular membrane -Fundus fluorescein angiography -Fundus imaging (OCT, ICG, photography) -Visudyne -Intravitreal medication -Focal laser photocoagulation " Urgent/Emergent Cases -Procedure is dependent upon presentation ICD-9 Codes: 361.01 Recent Retinal Detachment, Partial 361.05 Recent Retinal Detachment, Total or Subtotal 361.32 Horseshoe Tear 379.23 Vitreous Hemorrhage Post-operative care for procedures performed at this Medical Center will be performed by the staff of the VA Medical Center.
