- This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following, W91B4N-07-Q-0297, is a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-17 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20070531. It is the vendor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. All items are to be shipped to Bagram AF, Afghanistan, Attn: 1Lt. Yalunda Akinloba, APO AE, 09354. 0001 5 Each Large Area Maintenance Shelter; approximately 75 ft wide x 191 ft long x 31 ft high at peak; 10 bays(each at width of 12 ? feet), plus two(2) operational clamshell-end doors (electric winches included); Environmental rating of 90 mph stead winds and 8 psf ground snow load; 2 single personnel doors; Frame consists of aluminum Beams 6061-T6; PVC/polyester, 23-24 oz/square yard, flame retardant, opaque, tan(outside)/white (inside) weathershell fabric; standard electrical/lighting package (120/208V 60Hz, 3Ph, 150A load center, designed for relocation and uses flexible ?SO? cable rather than rigid conduit), gravity tents; 2 ventilation fans; high wind kit; manual winches and rigging for shelter erection; set of concrete and asphalt/earth anchors; mfr/ model no.: Clamshell buildings 50B-BBB-A10CC Or Equal The following clauses apply to this solicitation: DFARS 252.225-7020 Trade Agreements Certificate (Jan 2005); 252.225-7021 Trade Agreements (Mar 2007); 225.7002 Restrictions on food, clothing, fabrics, specialty metals, and hand or measuring tools. The Government will consider the following factors in determining the most advantageous offer to the Government: technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government?s requirement; delivery time to Bagram Air Field Afghanistan; price; and past performance.
