Description

The Government intends to issue a sole source contract to Moog Components Group, 1213 N Main Street, Blacksburg, VA 24060-3127 to repair slip ring assemblies for the Avenger Air Defense Weapons System. The NSN is 3040014953603; Part Number is TX6209 . The contract type will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP). The estimated contract quantity is a maximum of eleven (11) units. The Government does not possess the drawings or technical data package(TDP) to develop repair capability. The drawings and TDP are propri etary to the original manufacturer. The NAICS code is 335999 and the FSC code is 3699. All respondents shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to 30 July 2007. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publicat ion of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normall y be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
