Description

This is published as a sole source announcement under the authority of Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. This action is pursued under FAR 12 and 13.5. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Geotest Marvin Test Systems, Inc., 1770 Kettering, Irvine, CA 92614-5616, for a MTS-206 Maverick Field Test Set, part number 3050-0000, NSN 4935015009490. One each Test Set and Calibration Adapter is required, with all documentation to include operational, service, and calibration manuals. Contractor will also provide all hardware, software, cables, interconnects or fixtures, and spare parts necessary for the test set to be fully functional. The test set is required to test Maverick missile systems and Maverick missile system components. The MTS was developed specifically to perform parametric functional tests and maintain AGM series Maverick Missiles and other Maverick missile system components. The MTS-206 is the only known off-the-shelf tester which provides such te sting capability. The Government does not have a data package for the test set and the related technical data is proprietary to Geotest Marvin Test Systems. FOB Destination, Tobyhanna Army Depot. NAICS is 334515, 500 employees. Solicitation number is W2 5G1V-07-T-0446. Inquiries regarding this action must be received within 10 days of the date of this notice.
