Description

PROJECT TITLE: IMPROVEMENT OF PARKWIDE VISITOR USE ROADS WITHIN INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL LAKESHORE, PORTER COUNTY, INDIANA The work of this contract consists of pavement improvements for approximately 0.9 miles of roadway along Lake Front Drive in Beverly Shores, Indiana. Work includes but is not limited to: removal and on-site disposal of excess sand from roadway edges, removal and off-site dispodal of existing asphalt roadway, placement and compaction of new limestone base material, placement of bituminous aphalt concrete over new base or existing concrete roadway, traffic striping, and construction of small timber retaining walls. Additional work may include milling, paving and striping of other roads within the park boundaries. A HARD COPY OF THE IFB WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
