- Industry Day Meeting - July 31, 2006, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (MST) The USDA, Forest Service, Incident Support Branch at the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise, Idaho is requesting industry input on a draft solicitation. The intent of the draft solicitation will be to obtain services of Mobile Shower Facilities at various field locations during wildland fire and other types of incidents throughout the western United States and Alaska. A draft copy of this future solicitation is now being provided for industry input. This draft copy is a result of various comments received from industry and government personnel. The USDA, Forest Service will host a meeting with industry to discuss the proposed draft on Tuesday, July 31, 2007, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC), Boise, ID in the Training Building (Building 110). To make this meeting as productive as possible, interested parties are asked to submit questions/topics for discussion, via e-mail to: Melinda Draper at mgdraper@fs.fed.us AND Lothar Kososik at lkososik@fs.fed.us All questions/comments for this meeting must be received no later than close of business July 25, 2007. Any other comments as a result of the meeting must be received no later than close of business August 31, 2007 for consideration. Please note: This is NOT a request to submit offers/proposals. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) the beginning of 2008. Please continue to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website for future information. Information Regarding Access to NIFC: In order to gain access to NIFC, all interested parties must submit a list of attendees, via email, to Mr. Chris Kirk at ckirk@fs.fed.us by the close of business, July 27, 2007. All attendees will also be required to show a valid form of personal identification to base security. A base map is attached which identifies the Training Building and the associated parking areas.
