- US Department of Commerce/ National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and FAR 6.302-1. The proposed source is INTERNATIONAL DATA CORPORATION (IDC), FALLS CHURCH, VA. The services being procured is measures of computer software sales of Information Technology products and services in over 40 countries. Industry specialist within the US Department of Commerce provides this information to their private sector clients and senior management of the US Department of Commerce. This notice is being published for information purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotations received within 15 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
