Description

W912PE-07-XXX1 is now solicitation W912PE-07-T-7163. W912PE-07-T-7163 supercedes the previous number used. A copy of the solicitation is posted on https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. The George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies intends to award a firm fixed price non-personal services contract for one position as an Adjunct Professor and Subject Matter Expert in the area of Organizational Development: National Security Sector Human Resources Management. The Marshall Center is an international educational institution funded by the United States Department of Defense and the German Ministry of Defense. For more information see: www.marshallcenter.org. The contract will be for one base period of 12 months and one option period of 12 months. The anticipated period of performance for the base period is 7 September 2007 through 6 September 2008. The place of performance is Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany and countries with in the Marshall Center area of responsibility. The contractor shall be in residence in Germany by 31 October 2007. The contractor shall participate as a member of a traveling team designed to assess the security needs of countries within the Marshall Cen ter area of responsibility; participate as lecturer and seminar leader during Marshall Center outreach events (to include but not limited to conferences, tutorials, seminars, workshops, Regional Educational Team Seminars); lead seminars and present lecture s in resident academic programs and as part of the speakers bureau; develop and present an elective course for resident courses; and develop a written work. Frequent travel to Warsaw Initiative Funds (WIF) eligible countries is required. The Government i ntends to use a best value trade-off process for award. The solicitation was released 13 July 2007 with a proposal closing date of 27 July 2007. A copy of the solicitation is posted on https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi.
