Description
W912PE-07-T-7164 supersedes W912PE-07-R-XXX2. The solicitation was released 13 July 2007 and is available on https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. The George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies intends to award a firm fixed price non-pers onal services contract for one position as an Adjunct Professor and Subject Matter Expert in the area of Counterterrorism. The Marshall Center is an international educational institution funded by the United States Department of Defense and the German Min istry of Defense. For more information see: www.marshallcenter.org. The contract will be for one base period of 12 months and one option period of 12 months. The anticipated period of performance for the base period is 7 September 2007 through 6 Septemb er 2008. The place of performance is Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany and countries within the Marshall Center area of responsibility. The contractor shall be in residence in Germany by 31 October 2007. The contractor shall participate as a member of a t raveling team designed to assess the security needs of countries within the Marshall Center area of responsibility; participate as lecturer and seminar leader during Marshall Center outreach events (to include but not limited to conferences, tutorials, sem inars, workshops, Regional Educational Team Seminars); lead seminars and present lectures in resident academic programs and as part of the speakers bureau; develop and present an elective course for resident courses; and develop a written work. Frequent t ravel to Warsaw Initiative Funds (WIF) eligible countries is required. The Government intends to use a best value trade-off process for award.
