- The contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment and labor required to upgrade the 81mm Red Phosphorus Production Line at Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff, AR. The contractor shall be responsible for the design, testing, installation, acceptance and training for this upgrade. The upgrade shall include an upgraded mixing/blending system, automated feed hopper, new tooling for the five presses and an update to the Instron tester. The goal is to eliminate ergonomic and hazardous operations while m inimizing batch process time utilizing lean manufacturing technologies and automation. Request for Proposal W911RP-07-R-0019 will be issued on or about 10 Apr 2007 with a closing date on or about 10 May 2007. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. S ee Note: 1.
