- Replacement Synopsis of project incorrectly identified as AG-9360-S-07-0012 previously (Posted April 20, 2007). The correct number should have been AG-9360-S-07-0011 as appears on the face of the RFP document. MARKLEEVILLE-TURTLE ROCK FIRE STATION RELOCATION (PHASE1) This phase of the project includes constructing a two-way (20-foot wide travel way) native sur-face access road and parking area including culvert, and curb stops; installing a road closure gate; relocating two 1,000 gallon fuel storage tanks from the Markleeville Administrative site and placing them on constructed concrete slabs with bollards; installing traffic control signs and entrance signs; installing barrier rocks; installing waterline including valves, drains and associ-ated appurtenances; installing sewer line, dosing tank, septic tank, and drainfield; and installing an electrical distribution system to serve the site. This phase of the project may also include the following optional work that may or may not be awarded (Options May Be Awarded in Any Order): Option #1: 6-inch Aggregate for Base Bid Option #2: 3-inch Asphalt Road Surface for Base Bid Option #3: Gravel Exit Road Option #4: Flammable Storage Building Option #5: Pavilion w/ Path Option #6: 6-inch Aggregate Road Surface for Fire Station Road Option #7: 3-inch Asphalt Road Surface for Fire Station Road Quantities associated with these options are identified in the Schedule of Items under each indi-vidual option. The project is near the Turtle Rock Campground located approximately three miles North of Markleeville, California on Highway 89 in Alpine County. The project magnitude is between $250,000 - $500,000. Solicitation Proposals due to Contracting Officer NLT June 12, 2007 at 1700 hrs Local Time. NO FAX or Electronic submission. An Offer Gurantee, (Bid/Offer Bond), will be required in order for a proposal to be accepted and must accompany the offer. It must be drawn at 20% of offer amount, including any options. To be considered for award, an offerer must possess be actively registered at the Central Contracting Registertration (CCR)website with a valid DUNS number.
