Description

This is a 100% small business set-aside. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36; Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts. This solicitation # 401817Q181 is issued as a request for quotation. The purpose of this solicitation is for a project to improve an existing nature trail located on the Fontainebleau Unit of the Mississippi Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge (NWR), near Ocean Springs in Jackson County, Mississippi. This project is designed to expand the existing trail and to provide additional trail infrastructure to improve recreational and educational opportunities on the refuge. The NAICS code is 237310. Estimated price range is under 25,000.00. The RFQ will be issued electronically on or after July 17, 2007 on the Federal Business Opportunities web site at http://www.fbo.gov. The Response Date will be determined upon release of the RFQ. Responses to the RFQ will not be accepted electronically. Failure to comply will result in immediate rejection of bid. Questions or clarifications concerning any amiguities in the sollicitation shall be immediately addressed in e-mail to victor_bowman@fws.gov. PLEASE DEFER ALL QUESTIONS UNTIL AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE RFQ. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any amendments/modifications to any and all documents. It is anticipated the following viewers will be needed to view the solicitation and attachments posted: Microsoft Word (.doc) and Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf). A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 395 days. Anticipated date of award will be no later than September 4, 2007. NOTE: In order to be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and complete the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://www.bpn.gov. Prior to the CCR registration, offerors must have a DUNS number from Dun and Bradstreet at http://www.dnb.com.
