Description

It is anticipated that the National Park Service (NPS), Boston, shall be performing work on the underwater appendages of the historic ship U.S.S. CASSIN YOUNG. The anticipated scope of work is as follows: 1.) Underwater cleaning of the hull and appendages of the ship in accordance with Naval Ships Technical Manual (NSTM) Chapter 081 WATERBORNE UNDERWATER HULL CLEANING OF NAVY SHIPS. 2.) Underwater ultrasonic inspection of the hull shell plating ship in accordance with Naval Ships Technical Manual (NSTM) Chapter 081 WATERBORNE UNDERWATER HULL CLEANING OF NAVY SHIPS. This solicitation will be available at http://ideas.nbc.gov website on or about August 2, 2007. The NAICS code 336611. Size 1,000. The solicitation is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is subject to full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
