Description

The US Geological Survey intends to award a noncompetitive purchase order to Wetlands and Water Resources, Inc. of San Rafael, CA for services in support of the CALFED Delta Regional Ecosystem Restoration Implementation Plan (DRERIP). This source has essential expertise in developing DRERIP conceptual models, knowledge of program activities, expertise in habitat restoration (including tidal habitats), and has extensive previous DRERIP experience necessary to complete the required tasks. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement to the Contracting Officer by e-mail (rdonez@usgs.gov) no later than the response date shown in the announcement. Since the period of performance for these services starts after October 1, 2007, this is an FY08 acquisition and is currently unfunded. It will therefore be processed to point of award.
