- 1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. 2) Solicitation FA5000-07-P-0128 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). 3) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-17 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001. The DFARS provisions and clauses are those in effect to DCN 20070714. Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, parts, and transportation necessary to provide services/ supplies stated below. 4) This procurement is not set aside. This is a Brand Name only requirement to specifically meet the requirements for and EOD response vehicle. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is: 334290. The size standard is 750 employees. Delivery of items by: 30 days ADC. Delivery to: Elmendorf AFB, AK. FOB Destination.. 5) Line Item 0001; QTY 1: FLIR Thermo vision Security HD Camera, a true thermal image that does not require illumination. The system also has a viewing capability from far distances with a 22x optical zoom and a 12x digital zoom. The day light cameral also has a build in image stabilizing to provide a clearer image at full zoom. The camera system also provides a joystick display unit for camera control. Base fasten device to attach to Wilburt Mast (VM# 306701), Wilburt Pneumatic Mast 7-30 Lub. Kit Incl. Regular/Lub Pneumatic Kit Base Plate NR 6.75, 60? Nycoil & Mounting Brackets, 100? Flat Screen Monitor/Television DVD Record/Play, Cast Products Control Valve Compartment w/ Door, Instruction Book. Misc. Hardware ? 3/8? SS External Bolts, 4 1/2? long, SS Acorn nuts, 3/8? Line Item 0002; QTY 1: Freight Charges to Elmendorf AFB, AK 6) Intention of this is to provide the Emergency Response Vehicle a camera system for the Elmendorf AFB EOD Unit. 7) Delivery: FOB ELMENDORF AFB, ALASKA, requested delivery is no later than 5 September 2007. 8) FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. 9) FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial items. Award will be made based on the low price/technically acceptable offer.
