- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for twelve (Qty 12) Sony HVR-1500 devices and twelve (Qty 12) Analog Input Cards for HVR-1500 (brand name only). The devices should meet the following requirements: ?All of the primary recorder controls must be able to be controlled remotely via RS422A protocols from a master control unit (MCU). ?The VTR must provide recordings in the following video formats: DVCAM, DV, and HDV (1080i) and provide playback of DV 25M/bit tapes as well. ?The VTR must be able to directly output HD-SDI (SMPTE 292M specifications) without any additional external interface devices. ?The device requires that a minimum of 2.5 inch LCD display built into the unit to be used for monitoring the recording and playback from the deck. ?The device must be able to playback DV/DVCPro 25 tapes without the requirement of a separate mechanical adapter or modification to the control menu. ?The device needs to provide support for IEEE-1394 (Sony i-Link) DV Input/Output 4-pin Connector) are provided. ?The device must also provide down-conversion of 1080i recordings to 480i and 576i output. ?The device must provide support for aspect ration switching (Edge crop/squeeze). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation and is supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number N00167-07-Q-5207 applies and is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and proposals are being requested. This RFQ is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 443130 and the Small Business size standard is $6.5 Million. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the agency. The complete Request for Quotation (RFQ) N00167-07-Q-5207 can be accessed via the following websites: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ or https://www.neco.navy.mil/. , and selection for award will be based on the lowest price that meets the specified requirement. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. To be eligible for an award, contractors must be registered in the Centra l Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Registration may be done by accessing the CCR Web site at http://www.ccr.gov. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. All responses must be received by JULY 27, 2007- 5:00PM-ET, and must reference RFQ number N00167-07-Q-5207.
