- NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A BLANKET PURCHASE ORDER FOR FIVE YEARS. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, ALOSH, Morgantown, WV, Health Effects Lab Division and the Toxicology and Molecular Biology Branch intends to purchase the following items: BD-27-303 - Sentrix RatRef-12 Expression BeadChip kit - 2-pack of the Rat RefSeq-12 BeadChips which contain >24,000 Probes/array targeting (all known genes and known alternative splice variants). Each BeadChip contains 12 microarrays allowing for the parallel processing of 12 samples for greater throughput. Includes two BeadChips, hybridization and wash buffers, and wash trays. GT-95-210 - Sentrix Universal-16 BeadChips (1536-plex, set of 6) - Each Sentrix Universal BeadChip can process 16 samples and up to 1536 assays/sample. Each package contains six BeadChips, coverslips and reagents specific to BeadChip processing. GT-95-201 - GoldenGate Single-use Activation kit (576 Samples) - Kit for activating DNA for use with the Genotyping Kit II, with enough reagents for six 96-well plates of samples for a single genotyping reaction (250 ng of input DNA required). GT-95-203 - GoldenGate Assay kit (96 Samples) - Kit for preparing genotyping reactions for 96 samples using the GoldenGate Assay. GT-17-190 - MHC Exon-Centric Panel (96 samples, box) - The MHC Exon-Centric Panel contains one oligo pool for performing GoldenGate Assays on 1,228 SNP loci near coding sequences of genes in the MHC region. The single tube is sufficient for 96 samples. GT-17-191 - MHC Exon-Centric Panel (96 samples, bag) - The MHC Exon-Centric Panel contains one oligo pool for performing GoldenGate Assays on 1,228 SNP loci near coding sequences of genes in the MHC region. The single tube is sufficient for 96 samples. GT-17-181 - MHC Mapping Panel (96 samples, bag) - The MHC Mapping Panel contains one oligo pool for performing GoldenGate Assays on 1,293 SNP loci that are evenly spaced across the MHC region with emphasis on tag SNPs. The single tube is sufficient for 96 samples. GT-17-180 - MHC Mapping Panel (96 samples, box) - The MHC Mapping Panel contains one oligo pool for performing GoldenGate Assays on 1,293 SNP loci that are evenly spaced across the MHC region with emphasis on tag SNPs. The single tube is sufficient for 96 samples. BD-25-212 - Sentrix Human Ref-8 v2 Expression BeadChip Kit (6-pack) - 6-pack of the HumanRef-8 v2 BeadChips which contain >23,000 probes/array targeting genes and known alternative splice variants from the RefSeq database release 17. Each BeadChip contains 8 microarrays allowing for the parallel processing of 8 samples for greater throughput. Includes six BeadChips, hybridization and wash buffers, and wash trays. BD-26-212 - Sentrix MouseRef-8 v1.1 Expression BeadChip Kit (6-pack) - 6-pack of the MouseRef-8 v1.1 BeadChips for the analysis of > 24,000 mouse targets based on MEEBO, RefSeq and RIKEN FANTOM2 content. Includes hybridization and wash buffers, and wash trays. BD-26-113 - Sentrix Mouse-6 v1.1 Expression BeadChip Kit (2 pack) - 2-pack of the Mouse-6 v1.1 BeadChips for the analysis of > 47,000 mouse gene targets based on MEEBO, RefSeq and RIKEN FANTOM2 content. Includes hybridization and wash buffers, and wash trays. FA-12-112 - Sentrix Universal-96 Array Matrix (1536-plex) - A single Sentrix Array Matrix that can process 96 samples with up to 1536 assays/sample. BD-26-112 - Sentrix Mouse-6 v1.1 Expression BeadChip Kit (6 pack) - 6-pack of the Mouse-6 v1.1 BeadChips for the analysis of > 47,000 mouse gene targets based on MEEBO, RefSeq and RIKEN FANTOM2 content. Includes hybridization and wash buffers, and wash trays. Illumina Inc, 9885 Towne Center Drive, San Diego, CA 02121-1975 is the only company that produces these items. Responsible sources that believe they possess the expertise and capabilities identified above are encouraged to submit to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the posting date of this notice their capabilities statement and supporting information in the format they choose, not to exceed 10 pages. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), negotiations will be conducted with Illumina Inc., as the only source and a blanket purchase order will be issued without any additional notices being posted.
