- HOUSTON DISTRICT OFFICE (DO) RELOCATION TO HOUSTON AIR ROUTE TRAFFIC CONTROL CENTER (ARTCC), HOUSTON, TEXAS POINT OF CONTACT: ROSE MARIE MENDOZA, CONTRACTING OFFICER, 817- 222-4338 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualified construction contractors interested in providing offers for the Relocation of the Houston District Office, 222 Penbright, Suite 250, Houston, Texas 77090, to the Houston Air Route Traffic Control Center, 16600 John F. Kennedy, Houston, Texas 77032. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to complete the relocation and interior finishes. The work includes selective demolition of floor finishes and low office partitions in the NCO building. The work includes the construction of two private rooms; installation of new acoustical ceiling panels; new wall and floor finishes; doors, frames and hardware; painting; Government owned systems furniture. New work also includes special construction; mechanical; and new electrical. Moving from one location to the other will be accomplished after work hours. Security requirements are strictly enforced at the Houston ARTCC. All work shall be accomplished according to the plans and specifications that will be provided. 1. Contract performance time is 60 days. This project has mandatory sequence of work described in the drawings and specifications. 2. This construction project is set-aside for Small Business concerns. 3. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 236220. 4. The dollar range for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. 5. A (pre-bid) site visit will be conducted at the Houston District Office and proceed to the Houston ARTCC. Date and time of the pre-bid/site visit will be in the solicitation. 6. Contractor must perform at least 15 % of the work utilizing the contractor's own employees. 7. Contractor MUST be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before contract award. Contractors can register on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. THE CONTRACTOR MUST SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATION IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE THE SOLICITATION 1. DOCUMENT SECURITY NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS 2. BUSINESS DECLARATION 3. REFERENCES, PAST PERFORMANCE - The contractor must provide the name of the facility where work was performed, contract number, along with a point of contact at the facility and telephone number This information MUST BE submitted with the request for specifications and plans. The Request for Offer Package is expected to be available on or before August 10, 2007. Contractors must submit their request for this package no later than 4:00 pm (CDT) by July 27, 2007. Contractors must provide their company name, physical mailing address, telephone number and FAX number and complete and submit the two attached documents: FAILURE TO SUBMIT ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION WILL DEEM THE REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION AS NON-RESPONSIVE.
