Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Midwest Health Care Network, VISN 23, (Veterans Integrated Service Network 23) currently owns numerous Tandberg and other video equipment devices that are geographically dispersed over a five-state area. VISN 23's video equipment devices are used to support video conferencing, video telemedicine, video education and other video applications to the twelve VA medical facilities and thirty-three clinics. All Tandberg video devices referenced in this solicitation are covered under Tandberg Customer Core Services. The successful vendor is not responsible for on-site troubleshooting or maintenance for any of the devices other than the core devices located at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center, including the MCU's, gateway Tandberg Management servers and associated applications, Movi application and server, Content Server, Gatekeeper and Border Controller. The contractor must be physically located within 2-hours of the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. The contractor will be responsible for retrieving the appropriate new software update release keys from Tandberg for all registered devices and to implement the upgrades within 60 days of release by Tandberg. The contractor shall provide maintenance services in accordance with the Tandberg FSS contract # GS-35F-0859 for the VISN 23 video conferencing network which is primarily TANDBERG equipment and software. All items covered by maintenance shall be listed in contract form and made available to VISN 23 by support vendor. A list of VISN 23s video network devices are included in the solicitation. The period of performance is from date of award for 12 months with three (3) Option years.
