- QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 1. Company A offers three sensors in the temperature family, a) A combined temperature/humidity sensor used in operating & treatment rooms. b) A temperature only sensor, used in most refrigerators and normal temperature freezers, ambient environments when humidity is not monitored, and incubators (-40'C & up to 85 C) and c) A Ultra Low sensor that is used for equipment holding temperatures below -40 C. The Ultra Low uses a probe install through the equipments access port and a external mounted transmitter. Of the 209 sensors required how many of ea type a, b, or c, are needed. ANSWER: That data is on the equipment list (see attached) 2. How many departments are going to be covered? (i.e...Pharmacy, Blood Bank, Food Service, Research, O.R. etc.) ANSWER: That data is on the equipment list (see attached) 3. When was the building(s) built? ANSWER: Built in 1972 (Activated) 4. How many square feet per floor? ANSWER: 6 floors - 775,536 SF for Building 1 where the majority of the sensors are. There are some smaller and remote buildings as identified on equipment list. 5. Is there a floor plan w/ sensor location available? ANSWER Room numbers are shown on the equipment list. We can generate PDF floor plans if needed to the awarding vendor. 6. Is there a hospital on-site IT contact available for pre-offer consultation. ANSWER Yes
