Description

This VA Medical Center, 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury, NC is soliciting for a Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned Small Business concern to provide courier services with a company vehicle and driver to transport laboratory specimens daily (Monday through Friday), excluding holidays and weekends, from the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) Charlotte, NC located at 8401 Medical Center Plaza, Charlotte NC to the Laboratory Service at the VA Medical Center, 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury, NC. Contractor shall also pick up and deliver any request for STAT or EMERGENCY deliveries from any of the VHA facilities, namely CBOC Charlotte, NC; VA Outpatient Clinic, Winston-Salem, NC and VAMC Salisbury. In addition, contractor will pickup and deliver all biopsy specimens collected at Carolina Medical Center, Charlotte, NC and deliver to Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service, VAMC Salisbury. The NAICS code for this procurement is 492110 and the size standards is 1500 employees. The contract period shall commence on or about October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008 (with 4 option years).
