- Description: Telephone Switchboard Operations Services. The Contractor shall perform all duties and tasks required to provide round-the-clock switchboard operator service to Moody Air Force Base, Georgia; publish the base telephone directory; track Priority and higher precedence and overseas defense switch network (DSN) calls by control number; and track and place commercial toll calls by control number; and maintain physical security of the switchboard operator area. The solicitation number for this acquisition is FA4830-07-R-0012 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System is 561421. The Standard Industrial Classification is 7349. The small business size standard is $6,500,000. The contract will be for a basic period of one year (1 Oct 07-30 Sep 08) with four one-year options. This solicitation is a competitive RFP and award will be based on commercial procedures found in FAR Part 12. Award will be made using Price-Performance Tradeoff in accordance with FAR Part 15 The solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunity website (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about 01 Aug 07.
