Description

CLARIFICATIONS/CHANGES/ADD/DELETIONS to Scope of Work: At Location: 230th Sustainment Brigade Headquarters, 1801 Holtzclaw Ave, Chattanooga, TN. 37404. 1. TOTAL SYSTEM ADD: 1 Proximity reader and 1 vandal resistance camera. A total of 8 proximity readers and 3 vandal resistance high resolution day/night with auto-iris, vari-focal lens dome cameras are required. 2. CLARIFICATION: The system must have the capability of future expansion and battery back up for 8 hours except gate operators 3. CLARIFICATION: Vendor will install the software on a vendor provided PC& 4. CLARIFICATION: At DOOR A-100 clarification of requirement for: 1.THE DOOR KING 1812 WILL PROVIDE :Camera ,Monitor and Intercom for visitor control. 2.The owner will connect the phone lines to the 1812 unit. 5. DELETE: New Fence & Walk-Through Gate at Main Entry Area 1 New 4 H x 6 H Walk Through Chain Link Gate with 3 Strands Barb Wire, Gate Posts and Ball Bearing hinges,10 Foot Section of 6 H Chain Link Fencing with 3 strands Barb Wire and Posts 6. ADD: New Fence and walk- through gate at main entry area (deleted above) will be provided and installed by owner. (All other equipment at this point remains) 7. ADD: at the Shipping & Receiving Vehicular Gate 1 Free out loop 8. ADD: at the Shop Walk-Through Gate Vistors Notification device with the card Reader and Automatic Gate Closer on the gate. 9. DELETE: North Entrance to Building 1 and all equipment required (door between the buildings) 10. ADD: at the PX parking area 2 Gates 2 Doorking model 9150-080 1 hp 115vac slide gate operators 2 6ft x 30 ft chain link cantilevered slide gate with heavy duty cantilevered gate rollers and 3 strands of bard wire 2 RS2 technologies model 2R dual reader interface module 2 RS2 technologies model MM6800 proximity card reader 2 Doorking model 1200-038 6 ft high heavy duty architectural style gooseneck pedestal 2 Free out loops 1 lot cable,conduit,connectors 120vac power/surge protection including trenching,cutting and pavement patching 11. ADD: at the Parking Lot-CCTV 1 Pelco Model DF5 for a total of 3 12. CLARIFICATION: Mr. Cookstons Office is room # A-213 Questions and Answers: 1. Question: What is the status of the North Entrance Door, to Building 1? Will it be deleted from the spec? Answer: Yes, See #9 above Deleted. 2. Question: Will there be an extension of the period of performance for Chattanooga due to the complexity and size of the job? Answer: Period of performance is changed to 120 calendar days from date of award of the purchase order or contract including bo th Smyrna and Chattanooga. 3. Question: Will you accept a wireless solution to connect the PX Building to the main controls? This would save a tremendous amount of labor! Answer: Yes, Wireless is acceptable. 4. Question: The Door King 1812 entry system for Door A100 requires connection to the building phone system. Who is to provide for in install this connection? Answer: Owner will connect phone line for contractor. Two (2) days notice will be required. 5. Question: Will you accept a 20 - 21 in. LCD flat screen monitor in leau of the 21 in CRT monitor? Answer: YES 6. Question: There were two additional vehicular gates added to the scope of work. Will these require the same specs as the Ship/Rec gate? Answer: Yes see above #10 ADD- except they will require only card readers  No intercom/camera required. 7. Question: Does the eight (8) hour standby time refer to the gate operators? The specs seem to only reference the access system and door locks. Answer: NO, Gate Operator does not standby power. 8. Question: At Door A-100 I want to know what the DoorKing Model 1812 Telephone Entry system requires? Answer: See above #4 CLARIFICATION. All other requirments remain unchanged. Quotes are due in this office no later than July 26, 2007, close of business four-thirty 4:30p.m. local CDST.(Centra l Daylight Savings Time) They shall be either emailed to paul.david.reagan@us.army.mil or sent by facsimile to 615-313-2659.
