- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE:W910QZ7057N052 The Headquarters, US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) intends to award on a sole source basis with SKYBOX SECURITY, INC, 2077 Gateway Pl Ste 550, San Jose, CA 95110-1086, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(2)(b)(1), Only One Source Reasona ble. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be issued. A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications for Commercial Items must be included with the offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Te rms and Conditions, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause 52.212-5, Contract terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. INSCOM intends to acquire: (0001) Technical Support TS-S-P Standard Level Qty. 1 (0002) Vulnerability Dictionary SBV-SV-VD Qty. 1 (0003) Worm Dictionary SBV-SV-WD Qty. 1 Based on extensive market research conducted with knowledgeable individuals in Government and the related industry, SKYBOX is the authorized re-seller of SKYBOX maintenance. There are not any other authorized sources available to service this product. Th is Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement or submit quotes to this office by 10:00 AM, EST, July 24, 2007 by e-mail at kzhill@mi.ar my.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of d etermining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This contract will be awarded as a commercial item in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Parts 12 and 13.
