Description: The US Fish and Wildlife Service(US FWS), Maui National Wildlife Refuge in Kihei, Hawaii has a need for rental of heavy equipment without operators, to be operated by US FWS personnel on Maui NWR land. The rental of an excavator and a dozer will be for weekly or monthly periods, to be determined, throughout the performance period of the contract, not to exceed $50,000 for the whole contract. The award will be made based on quoted rates for weekly or monthly rental of equipment specified in the solicitation. Preference will be given to equipment with lower ground pressure that would reduce the chances of getting stuck and/or reduce the unintended damage to earth works at the refuge. Responses are due NLT 11:59 pm PDT on 7/26/07.
