- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR Subpart 13.5, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation Reference number is 07-42-0136 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334290. The deadline for submitting quotes is Wednesday 25, 2007 at 3:00 PM EDT. The OCIO/NLRB intends to purchase the following: 1. Software Maintenance and support (24X7 Gold Support) for one year from the date of award for Acqualogic User Interaction Portal Platform (4CPUs), ALI Integration Services (2 CPUs). Brand Name Justification for Acqualogic User Interaction procurement: The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is in the process of procuring a software maintenance and support agreement for its previously implemented BEA AquaLogic Portal platform. MYNLRB, the Agency's primary E-Government resource, was developed and deployed on the BEA AquaLogic Portal platform. It is essential to continuing operations that the NLRB has a current software maintenance and support agreement for this platform, specifically for direct contact support services, receiving bug and service patch releases, and to obtain new versions of the software that may provide the Agency with beneficial functionality. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors/Commercial Items applies. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation/Commercial Items. Evaluation factor is price and price related items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders/Commercial Items.
