- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A request for quotation (RFQ), EOSCO8RC001 Printer and Digital Sender Repair, is available in a PDF file and to obtain a copy, contact the contract specialist, Teresa Knotts at (614) 693-1974 or by email at teresa.knotts@dfas.mil. The RFQ will include a Statement of Work, current list of printers/digital senders, and the applicable wage determination. The RFQ document and incorporated clauses/provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-17. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 811212, Computer and Office Machine Repair and Maintenance, and the size standard is $23,000,000.00. The requirement is for printer and digital sender repair services to be performed for Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), Columbus, OH. The factors to be used in the evaluation of offers will be price. The resulting contract will be for one base year and include four one-year option periods. The base year period of performance is to be October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008 with inspection and acceptance at destination and F.O.B. destination. Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items apply to this acquisition.
