Description

Contractor to provide all labor, materials, supervision, transportation and equipment to construct a new parking lot at the Hefner VAMC, Salisbury, NC. This procurement is 100% set aside for service disabled veteran owned small businesses. The dollar value of this procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000. Work includes but is not limited to site work, grading, earthwork, paving, concrete and site restoration. Firms meeting the above criterion must be registered in both Central Contractor Registry (https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/scripts/index.html) and VetBiz (http://www.vetbiz.gov/vip/vip.htm) before drawings will be issued. Firms must request drawings in writing. Email requests may be sent to: jolette.morrison@va.gov. Telephone requests will not be honored. There are 20 sets of drawings available and will be issued on a first come, first-served basis until the supply is exhausted. The requestor may provide his/her Fed-Ex account number with the request and the drawings will be Fed-Exed. No other fast delivery service is available. Otherwise, the drawings will be sent via regular mail. The specifications will be uploaded on/about July 16, 2007. A pre-bid conference and walk-through will be held August 1, 2007 at 2:00 PM in Bldg 21, Room BC-110. The bid opening is scheduled on/about August 17, 2007 at 2:00 PM. All bids are to be delivered to Jolette Morrison in Bldg 21, Room BB-108. The NAICS code is 236220. Government wide numbered note 29 applies to this procurement.
