- This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. This announcement constitutes a Request for Quotation. Solicitation number F3H3G37171A001 is issued as a request for quotation. Funds are currently available. Quotations must be valid until Friday, August 31, 2007. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333415. The business size standard is 750 employees. Offutt AFB intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the providing and installation of programmable thermostats. The contractor will supply all parts, materials, supplies, labor and personnel required to install seventy nine (79) programmable thermostats in existing thermostat locations using existing wiring, per facility list developed by Offutt personnel. Offutt AFB recommends programmable thermostat manufacture by White/Rogers model 1F85-277 or equal. Any required wall repair will be performed by the contractor. No alterations, additions, or deletions shall be made unless by prior approval of the Project Manager and the Contracting Officer. Contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. If not already registered in CCR, go to WWW.CCR.GOV to register prior to submitting quote. GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO ISSUE ONE (1) CONTRACT BUT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONSIDER PARTIAL BIDS. THIS EQUIPMENT IS STANDARD FORCE AIR, HEAT PUMPS, ETC. THE T-STAT PROPOSED WAS GRAINGER #4NB73. 2)Is the equipment have one stage heat and cool, is it a heat pump, does it have electrical or other heating, etc.? ALL OF THE ABOVE. 3)Will you do painting of area that may be exposed when the old units are removed? REPAIR IS REQUIRED BY CONTRACTOR. 4) There is typically no wall repair required for this work. TRUE. MAYBE A BIGGER BACKING PLATE. 5)Who is to program these units and verify operation? CONTRACTOR. 6)Is this Davis Bacon? NO, NO CONSTRUCTION OR MAJOR REPAIR IS REQUIRED.
