Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR Subpart 13.5, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation Reference number is 07-42-0117 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334290. The deadline for submitting quotes is Thursday 26, 2007 at 3:00 PM EDT. The OCIO/NLRB intends to purchase the following: 1. Software Maintenance for 450 E-Room Enterprise ST and Content Server ST license for one year from the date of award. Brand Name Justification for Maintenance of Documentum, e-Room Enterprise and Content Server license : The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is in the process of renewing a software maintenance and support agreement for its previously implemented EMC/Documentum platform. Documentum is the Agency's enterprise content management platform, supporting a wide-variety of current Agency initiatives, such as the Judicial Case Management System, Agency E-Filing and E-Government, and Operations-Management and Division of Judges integration. It is essential to continuing operations that the NLRB has a current software maintenance and support agreement for this platform, specifically for direct contact support services, receiving bug and service patch releases, and to obtain new versions of the software that may provide the Agency with beneficial functionality. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors/Commercial Items applies. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation/Commercial Items. Evaluation factor is price and price related items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders/Commercial Items. CCR Requirement/ Company shall be registered on Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award can be made to them.
