- This Sources Sought notice is issued for the purpose of identifying sources for establishing one or more BPAs for the lease of lodging and conference/meeting rooms for up to 150 employees and family members of the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG). In the event of an emergency, the BBG will transfer its operations to Frederick County, MD. Contract vendor(s) should be able to provide up to 150 rooms as well as conference/meeting rooms at one or more locations within 24 hours of notification by the contracting officer that such an emergency has occurred and that the rooms are required. Interested sources shall advise of capability to provide lodging, including the number of rooms that can be made available and within what amount of time, the location of the facilities and business services (such as internet, photocopier, telefax) that can be provided. It is also requested that sources advise as to what food service is available within their facility and/or within walking distance. Responses to this notice and questions and/or comments shall be submitted to James McGuirk at jmcguirk@ibb.gov no later than 5pm EDT on Friday, August 24, 2007. This is NOT a solicitation announcement for proposals and NO contract will be awarded from this announcement. The Government does not intend to pay for the information solicited. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement referenced above.
