- The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Net-Centric Services Branch, Hardware Section (DITCO-PL8322), Scott AFB, IL, intends to issue a sole source purchase order w/options to Lafayette Instrument Co. Inc., 3700 Sagamore Parkway North, Lafayette IN 47903 for the acquisition of the following: Base Year - 27 each Preliminary Credibility Assessment Screening System (PCASS) Units, one year warranty for 27 Ranger PDA Units, (including software, mounts and attachments), 27 Headphones w Advanced Audio Distibution Profile, 27 carrying cases, Software Enhancement Tagging Physiological Data, Development costs associated w/external collapsible keyboard, and telephone technical support for the life of the instruments. Option 1 - one year warranty for 27 Government owned Ranger PDA units (including software, mounts attachments and telephone technical support for the life of the instruments). Option 2 - one year warranty for 27 Government owned Ranger PDA units (including software, mounts attachments and telephone technical support for the life of the instruments). The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed requirement must indicate their written interest within 3 days of this notice. Oral communications are not acceptable.
