- This requirement was originally synopsized as Solicitation Number W912CN07R0051 and published on July 16, 2007. The Solicitation Number has been changed to W912CN07T0428. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, and other items and services necessary to perform operation, maintenance and installation to the Administrative Communications System and the outside/inside cable distribution systems for Lucent 5ESS located in room B107 at the Information Systems Facility building 1500 on Schofield Barracks, Hawaii and seven (7) Transformation Sites. The contractor shall provide trained telecommunicatio ns personnel to perform circuit conditioning, directory number adds, moves, and deletes, and assignment of class mark features using the Maintenance Administration Terminal. This includes voice and data communications services for Bldg 1500, 1503 and Tran sformation locations. Maintenance includes both fiber and copper cables connected to communications pedestals in Bldg 1503 and connected to Transformation sites. Contractor shall perform cable maintenance for all cable connected to Bldgs 1500 and 1503, p edestals for Bldg 1503, and Transformation locations for current and future projects. The issue date for this solicitation is estimated to be on or about 3 August 2007. Actual proposal due date will be specified in the solicitation and may be earlier or later than 24 August 2007. Period of performance is projected to be 26 Sept 2007 through 25 Sept 2008, with two (2) prepriced six-month option periods. Response date above is estimated. The proposed contract is being considered a 100% set aside for Serv ice-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns (SDVO SBC). A firm is considered to be a small business if their average numbers of employees for the past 12 months do not exceed 1500. NAICS code is 517110 - Wired Telecommunications Carriers. This is a new requirement. No previous procurement history is available. Telephone requests will not be honored.
