- The Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM-MAS) and the Joint Munitions & Lethality Life Cycle Management Command (JM&L LCMC) Acquisition Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is seeking sources to produce 120mm Advanced Tungsten Armor Piercing, Fin Stabilized,Discarding Sabot (APFSDS) cartridges for sale to the State of Kuwait. The anticipated award will be in FY08 for 3,000 (+/-10%) cartridges with a delivery schedule of 13 months from date of award. The resulting contract will also include options for 3,000 (+/-10%)cartridges per year from FY09-FY12. Delivery schedule for the options will also be 13 months from option award. Sources must provide technical details of any 120mm Tungsten (APFSDS) cartridge configuration which would be proposed under a future Request for Proposal (RFP). Any responsible/interested sources shall submit their qualifications and capabilities within 15 days of this notice to: Commander, US Army Joint Munitions & Lethality LCMC Acquisition Center, ATTN: AMSML-AQ-MA, Mr. Eric Wagner, Bldg. 10, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 or submit the information electronically to the email address shown. Information submitted should include your organization, personnel, facilities, applicable subcontractor network and past experience to meet specific needs stated above. Include company name, address, telephone number, technical point of contact, item nomenclature, item description, and brochure/literature. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION. Please be advised that the Government will not pay for any information submitted under this announcement. Electronic submittals are preferred. See Numbered Notes 25 and 26.
