- The US Army, JM&L LCMC Acquisition Center, Picatinny, NJ on behalf of the Army Office of the Project Manager Combat Ammunition Systems anticipates issuing a request for Proposal (RFP) for the manufacturing of mortar shell bodies on or about 24 August 2007, to support the 120mm M983/M930 Illuminating Mortar Cartridge program. The anticipated RFP will be a fixed price contract for a one year basic award quantity of approximately 27,040 120mm M983/M930 IR Shell Bodies with four evaluated/priced options for estimated quantities of up to 55,000 per option. The Government plans on restricting this requirement to U.S. and Canadian sources in accordance with FAR 6.302-3(a)(2)(i). The deadline for all proposals will be 30 days after issuance of the RFP. In order to obtain copies of all limited distribution documents, offerors should follow the following procedure: A signed and approved DD Form 2435 ???Military Critical Technical Data Agreement??? must be sumbitted to U.S. Army JM&L LCMC, ATTN: AMSML-AQ-CA, Bldg.9, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806-5000, E-MAIL: stacy.kettler@pica.army.mil. A copy of the form will be included as an attachment to this synopsis. The updated Drawing CD will be released upon receipt of the signed and approved DD Form 2345, and the Non-Disclosure form, which is also included as an attachment within this synopsis.
