Description: The US Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for callobration between the USGS and the Open GIS Consortium OGC through the Group on Earth Observation System of Systems Pilot and the OGC Web Services Testbed (OWS-5) initiative. This service is known to be available only from Open Geospatial Consortium. The USGS intends to make an award to Open Geospatial Consortium unless it is contacted by any vendor who believes they can provide the same service. Vendors are invited to contact the Contracting Officer at vfloyd@usgs.gov no later than 8/6/07 with an affirmative answer.
