- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-06-G-0014 in support of the AAR-47 Missle Warning Program. This recurring order is for approximately 155 DB Enhancement kits (Hockey Puck). The 155 kits will be split between two actions. An order will be issued for appoximately 105 kits in FY07. A modification to this order for approximately 50 kits is planned for award in early FY08. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Alliant TechSystems, Integrated Systems Division, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 because they are the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the ARR-47 A(V)2 design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
