- Description
- The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) on behalf of the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4, Logistics Transformation, intends to award a sole source purchase order to LMI, McLean, VA. The contractor shall provide research, analytical, process improvement, and program management support for the G-4 implementation of Logistics Transformation, to include realization of the Army Vision through Line of Operation 9 (LO 9) of the Army Campaign Plan (ACP). The contractor shall develop and manage collaborative G-4 processes to identify, evaluate, select, track, update and report on actionable items of the LO 9 plan. Selected elements of these processes are to be available on the Army Knowledge Online (AKO) Logistics Transformation website and collaboration sites. The LO 9 focus is on integrating logistics concepts, studies, initiatives, and programs that meet the conditions-based criteria of the TCP. The contractor shall manage LO 9 synchroniz ation of objectives and conditions, milestones, and events that transform Army logistics to meet LO 9 goals. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate the required services with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(ii)(B). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all capability statements of no more than 10 pages received by 10:00 a.m., 30 Jul 2007. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evi dence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in furture procurements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
