Description

This acquisition is for various mobile radios, optional cards, scan control units, dual control system heads, accessory kits, microphones, chargers, antennas, and power adapters to be used for troops in OCONUS locations. Delivery must be made no lat er than September 30, 2007. Destination will be Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg PA 17201. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. The Government intends to make a sole source award to Communication Systems Specialists Inc., 1963 Oberlin Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111. Communication Systems Specialists Inc.,is the original manufacturer of these items and is the sole supplier. This company owns the proprietary data necessary to manufacture these items and the government does not have the right to use this data for a competitive acquisition. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Suggest that small business firms, or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement, make contact with the firm listed above. All responsible sourc es may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by this agency. Request a solicitation package from Letterkenny Army Depot via email chance.d.caione@us.army.mil.
