Description
Industry Day Announcement for the High Capacity Communications Capability (HC3) Program. Date: 15 August 2007, Registration starts at 0800. Briefing starts at 0830. Location: Gibbs Hall, Building 2000, Tinton Avenue, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07702. Sp onsor: Product Manager, Extremely High Frequency Satellite systems (PdM ESS). Purpose: PdM ESS will brief interested sources on the HC3 requirements. The HC3 provides high capacity, multi-band, multi-mode connectivity using current and future satellites . HC3 will support wideband and protected ground tactical communications in a Communications At-The-Halt (CATH) configuration, using Defense Satellite Communications System (DSCS, X-Band), Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS, X and Ka-Band), Advanced Extremely Hi gh Frequency (AEHF, Q-Band), as well as numerous commercial satellites (C, X, and Ku-Band). Subsequently, HC3 will upgrade its CATH terminal and WIN-T Transmission Subsystems with Transformational Satellites (TSATs) higher capacity and protected communi cations capabilities. HC3 is a mission critical capability that will bridge the battlefield digital divide by providing unprecedented Warfighter access and full reachback capability as a part of the Global Information Grid (GIG) and evolving FORCEnet, L andWarNet and C2 Constellation architectures. Attendance: Attendance by interested sources is limited to 4 representatives, in accordance with the registration form the can be found on the Single Face to Industry Interactive Business Opportunities Page ( AFSI IBOP). The AFSI IBOP can be located at http://abop.monmouth.army.mil. Registration for user ID and password will be necessary in order to access the webpage. One-on-one: Each interested source can request a voluntary one-one-one session with the HC3 Government Team. Sessions will be one hour in duration (no extensions). The current plan is to start the one-on-one sessions at approximately 1330 on 15 August 2007 and they will continue all day on 16 August. A random selection process will be executed on 15 August to assign a 60 minute time slot to each interested source. No one-on-one meetings will be scheduled after 16 August 2007.
