- Point of Contact: SUSAN KILLGORE, CONTRACTING DIVISION 918-669-7136, EMAIL: SUSAN.KILLGORE@USACE.ARMY.MIL The work includes the design and construction of a 140,000 SF multi-story consolidated fuel, overhaul, repair, and test facility at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. The design and construction shall also include all necessary site work, utilities, and infrastructure to support the new facility while meeting all applicable building codes and standards. Work to meet current building codes and safety requirements. Comply with minimum force protection construction standards and sustainable design standards. The new faci lity will replace the existing test facility in Building 3108, and portions of the Building 3001 overhaul facilities. The new facility will include Class I, Division 1 and 2 areas for check and test of fuel components, a Class 300,000 clean room for fuel control overhaul, cleaning areas, material control areas, shipping and receiving, and associated support and administrative areas. The entire facility will be environmentally controlled and protected by a fire protection system. The base contract will al so include purchase and installation of Initial Outfitting Equipment (IOE) as identified in the RFP. This facility will be part of the User's Lean Cell Initiative, and the design will be required to incorporate lean cell equipment layouts identified in th e RFP. For security reasons, this solicitation will be distributed using the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FEDTEDS) System.
