- Description
- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes (oral quotes will not be accepted) on RFQ reference number FIX30N71780100. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 (iv) This solicitation is set-aside as unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423110. (v) Potential offerors are to quote on the following: 0001 Ford Transit Bus (OR EQUAL) M2 350L, 14 Seats2.4 Motor TDCI 140cv euro 4, Must include: ABS+EBD+ESP, driver airbag, driver seat wth 8 seat position regulators plus arm rests, air conditioning, electric windows, electronic door lock by remote control, electric mirrors, power steering, radio with cd plaer with additional controls on steering, autonomous gas indicator, 80 liter gas tank. 2 EA; 0002 Delivery to Aviano Air Base, Italy 1 EA (vi) Section not used (vii) Section not used (viii) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items (Jan 2006), applies to this acquisition. No addenda to this provision (ix) FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items (Jan 1999), applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation (contingent upon availability of funds) to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement; (2) price. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the prices for CLINs 0001 & 0002. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer?s specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
