- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Coordinating Center for Infectious Diseases (CCID) is seeking to award a sole source commercial contract for an on line analytical tool which will provide access to the world?s airline schedules both future (up to 11 months out) and historical (minimum of one year back). The tool should allow users to log on and do queries based on regions of the world, city pairs, airlines, flight #, etc. The tool should allow for comparison of data based off of specific time frames, month, week or day of week. The analytical tool should allow users to build, save and download queries. Data of the online tool should be refreshed at a minimum of a weekly basis. The requirement is also for a connection building tool. This tool should show all feasible connections based off of city pairs entered from around the world. Mapping functionality is also a requirement which will allow the CDC to map out specific routes around the world. A two (2) to five (5) user license is required. Specifically the Government intends to purchase one (1) BACK Aviation subscription to include iNet schedules, Connection Builder, Aviation Mapping and MapInfo. The period of performance shall be one (1) twelve month base period and two (2) twelve month option periods. The Government has determined that BACK Aviation Solution is the only responsible source to satisfy the Government?s requirement. The BACK Aviation tool is the only available software that is both sufficiently comprehensive and offers the detailed connection information necessary to satisfy the Government?s needs. The Government intends to Request quotes on 31 July 2007, with award by 03 August 2007. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
