- Description
- This is a notice of the intent to conduct a sole source acquisition for a commercial item to be awarded to Crane Equipment & Service, Inc dba Gaffey Cranes & Hoists (CES-Gaffey). This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Description is as follows: The contractor shall provide all parts, labor, material, supervision, and administration necessary to install tractor drives to existing CES-Gaffey monorail/trolleys to allow for motorized travel at Altus Air Force Base, OK, Wheel and Tire Shop Building 291. The original Gaffey monorail was installed in February 2007 and the warranty is still in effect. If any other businesses are able to meet this need, they must respond to this notice by 1600 CST on August 3, 2007. If no responses are received by the above date, a sole source contract with Crane Equipment & Service, Inc dba Gaffey Cranes & Hoists will be pursed.
