Description

This project is required to abate asbestos in High School Building. Scope of work includes but not limited to: 1. Abate all asbestos-containing layers of flooring and adhesive, pipe-fitting insulation, equipment insulation, flex connectors etc. 2. Remove all layers of flooring & adhesive, prepare surface and install new. 3. Remove and reinstall existing electric equipment including transformer and associated wiring. Site orientation is scheduled for 7 Aug 07 at 1000 hours. All participants will meet at the entrance Bldg 620, Contracting Squadron. Contact the POC with number of participants attending the site orientation by 6 Aug 07. On 7 Aug 07, all contractors who require escorts meet at Supply Gate (Gate#5) at 0930 hours to receive passes. NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFEROR MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM WORK IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. Prospective offerors who have not previously completed vendor registration are requested to contact Mr Naraoka at 042-552-1046 for further instructions. You may be requested to obtain DUNS number and CAGE code first prior to your bidding on this project.
